Background and Expertise

Hanna is an Associate Attorney at Digby Family Law. She earned her Juris Doctor from Belmont University College of Law in 2025 and is licensed to practice law in Tennessee. A native of Madison, Alabama, and the oldest of seven siblings, Hanna’s passion for the law was sparked at just 12 years old, after a seventh-grade civics class screening of 12 Angry Men.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Auburn University, majoring in Law and Justice with a minor in Psychology. While at Auburn, Hanna was an active member of the campus community, serving as secretary of Pi Lambda Sigma, competing on the Mock Trial Team, and coordinating community outreach through The Big Event, an entire day dedicated to helping out neighbors of the university. She was also a proud member of Delta Zeta sorority.

During law school, Hanna immersed herself in family law through summer internships and was an active member of the Family Law Society and the Tennessee Bar Association. Her connection to Digby Family Law came through a chance referral—what began as a recommendation turned into one of her most formative legal experiences. Hanna credits the firm with allowing her to learn through meaningful work and mentorship from attorneys who genuinely care.

Hanna’s personal connection to family law runs deep. Witnessing the impact of divorce during her own childhood fueled her desire to help others navigate those challenges with compassion and clarity. She’s committed to making sure clients feel seen, supported, and hopeful about what comes next.
