Background and Interests
Originally from West Tennessee, Joyce took a nontraditional path to higher education, earning her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration later in life. A self-professed late bloomer, she brings a wealth of experience and perspective to her work in the legal field.
Joyce began her legal career in Nashville, where she discovered her passion for family law. Over the years, she also gained valuable experience in litigation and entertainment law—but ultimately, she’s happiest to have found her way back to her first love: family law.
As part of the team at Digby Family Law, Joyce enjoys helping clients navigate challenging times with compassion and understanding. Her dedication to family and connection shines through in everything she does.
Interests and Hobbies
Outside of work, Joyce’s world revolves around her large, close-knit family. The oldest of six children and a proud “Glamma” to Samantha (12) and twins Ruby and Smith (9), she shares a home with her daughter and daughter-in-law, complete with a cozy mother-in-law suite where family can drop by anytime. Most Sundays, you’ll find her in the kitchen cooking dinner for her crew.
When she’s not at the office or hosting family gatherings, Joyce can usually be found at the gym—because, as she likes to say, she plans to live forever—or watching documentaries about true crime, the Mob, the Great Wars, or the Holocaust.
